HOLSWORTHY and District Euchre League held their annual dinner and presentation night on April 6 at The White Hart, Holsworthy.

They were pleased to welcome sports reporter David Sillifant from the Post to join them for the evening and present the trophies along with Gary and Pam from the Bridge Inn, who kindly sponsor the cards.

Holsworthy Social Club — Bruce Dymond, Roger Dymond, Fran Dymond , Steve Masters and John Dexter.

D Webb and M Down were the League winners also winning the Mackeson Cup, the knock out competition and the Hawkeye.

Other teams were well represented to collect their awards — the Bude Shield was won by Bude Social C.

Master of Ceremonies — Colin Cholwill did a sterling job and organised a few games of Irish Bingo afterwards.

Flower arrangements were given to Pam and to Sheila the Hon Treasurer.

A lovely meal and a sociable evening was had by all and thanks were extended to David for attending.
