THE boys were boosted before kick-off with a photo shoot to show off their new polo shirts, kindly provided by sponsor Venture Dairy Services.
The All Blacks' recent form had not been great but they put in a display much more like the team we have come to expect, at home to Okehampton this week.
The forwards started full of purpose and made some excellent ground early on. This territorial advantage was soon turned into points as the sponsor's player of the match Chae Jenkins went over to open the scoring.
Toby May converted to make it 7- 0 and followed this up with a huge tackle in the middle of the park, the first of a few that earned him the Big Hitter award.
Winger George Ellis expertly collected a clearance kick and made good yardage before completing a lovely offload on the ground. Another high clearance kick from Okehampton was this time taken superbly by full back Piran Gallington.
