THE Cornish All Blacks suffered a disappointing narrow defeat on an eventful afternoon in Cambridgeshire, which marked their fifth one point loss of the season.

Launceston were caught napping from the start, and found themselves 21-0 down after only 13 minutes. Cambridge went over the line three times in quick succession to give themselves a healthy early lead.

The visitors were given a real glimmer of hope however, thanks to a moment of madness from Cambridge captain Stef Liebenberg — he was shown a red card following an incident involving foul play.
