Ladies Triangle Competition

BUDE golf course was the opening venue of this tri-match competition. Each group consisted of three players, one from each of Bude, Launceston and Holsworthy golf clubs. From a team of eight for each club, six stableford scores are added to produce the standings.

The Launceston ladies were very pleased to win in the first match of the series beating Bude and Holsworthy at Bude.

Team members who scored well were Jan Harrison (36), Elizabeth Swords (33) and Liz Hicks (32).

The match was played in good spirit with an underlying competitive element.

Results were Launceston 187, Bude 185 and Holsworthy 164. Holsworthy host the next match where they will be looking to gain ground on their opponents.
