THE draw for the quarter-finals of the 2023/24 Launceston Cup was made at the Bell Inn on Thursday, January 18 with ties due to be played in March.

Three of the ties are relatively local derbies, the most intriguing of which sees in-form Kilkhampton of Division One East of the St Piran League, welcome Holsworthy Reserves from the North Devon League Premier Division, the league the Lambs were in last season.

Two West Devon-based clubs take each other on as Lifton, who are quietly mounting a promotion charge from Division Two East of the St Piran League, welcome Halwill, who are six games unbeaten under new boss Dean Rogers in Division Three of the Devon and Exeter League.

St Piran League Division Three East leaders Bude Town Reserves have an away trip to their Gunnislake counterparts who are mid-table in the same league, while Lanreath, who are behind the Seasiders on goal difference in the race for the title, have a East Cornwall derby against one-league higher Dobwalls Reserves.
