EIGHT lady members from Launceston Golf Club competed in the County Spring meeting at Tehidy Park on Thursday, May 21 with 51 entries from 13 different clubs.

Launceston's Lady Captain Jan Harrison won the scratch Trophy for the second consecutive year. There was an extremely competitive field in sunny but breezy conditions offering a further challenge to the players. The greens too proved to be testing resulting in reduction only results.

Beth Ratcliffe said: "We are very proud of our Lady Captain Jan who not only represents Launceston Golf Club, but also helps to promote golf in the East end of the County — Congratulations Jan Harrison."
