THIS year's cup competition was a round robin with only five teams participating. Kilkhampton had a great start, beating Mullion 2-1 away and St Teath 1-0 at home before defeating league champions St Breward 2-0. With Kilkhampton and St Breward on the same points, the former travelled to Penzance knowing a draw would see them win the cup.

Penzance pressed from the start, with Kilk's back four of Claire Gifford, Vinnie Shadrick, Rachel Hardwick and Sophie Tysall soaking up the their attacks well.
