THE last kick of the match - a conversion by full back Keiron Lewitt - gave the All Blacks victory. They led 14-3 after seven minutes but the Forest of Dean team fought back and were set to win until well into 'added time'.

Lydney's huge pack were giving the All Blacks some trouble initially and within two minutes their constant attacking in the home 22 was rewarded with a well taken drop goal from scrum half Dave Arnott.

The All Blacks came back and got the ball wide to their fast wings, Richard Bright on the right and Aaron Struminski. The ball was sent down the line which was joined by Lewitt, and he released Bright who raced half the length of the pitch and round to the posts to score. Lewitt, who converted all his sides tries, added the extras.

Within two minutes the home backs were again released, Struminski making a powerful break along the left. The ball was immediately spun through firm hands out right and lock Jamie Tripcony joined the movement and lofted a superb long pass out to Bright, who repeated his earlier run to storm in.
