FORMER?Launceston Rugby Club Under 15s player Kate Marks has been selected as one of 12 youngsters from across the country to serve on the RFU?National Youth Council.
The council comprises 16 to 24-year-olds from across England who are involved in all aspects of the game, working directly with the wider Rugby Football Union and England Rugby to help the growth and development of youth rugby across the country — especially focussing on player recruitment and retention.
Kate is an exceptional rugby player and an exceptional young lady.
Last year she was selected as one of four Young Rugby Ambassadors at Liskeard Leopards Girls' Rugby Club — itself the only one in Cornwall to have been chosen.
