HOLSWORTHY Golf Club's junior section took part in their own Ryder Cup Competition recently, to great enjoyment.
The day was open to all junior members to play in and their families were encouraged to come and watch. Fifteen juniors took part and each had a caddie, just like in the real Ryder Cup.
The day was made to be as much like the real thing as possible to make it fun, but as equally challenging for the youngsters. The juniors were put into two teams — Europe and USA.
Team USA was captained by the junior captain Adam Isaac, who played alongside Cameron Davey, Nathan Powell, Samuel Merchant, Albert Shepherd, Jay Jenkins, William Stone and Sean Jacob.
