OVER 30 members of the Launceston Tennis Club enjoyed a social evening, together with the annual general meeting and presentation of trophies, at the Eagle House Hotel recently.
The evening got underway with the AGM, introduced by chairman Helen Davies.
Secretary Sarah Cooke also presented her report on a successful year's tennis, with membership numbers stable, five teams competing in the summer leagues, and four in the winter competitions.
Congratulations went to the men's and ladies' B teams, who both gained promotion. The ladies' A team remains in the Premier Division, while the men's A team were unfortunately relegated to County One.
Club competitions were also keenly contested.
