LAUNCESTON Tesco staff have teamed up to join the biggest fight against cancer, this summer by entering Cancer Research UK's 'Race for Life'.

The women, who work together at the store, stepped out at the Wadebridge Race for Life event at the Royal Cornwall Showground on Thursday, July 5. They were inspired to enter because many friends and colleagues have lost loved ones to cancer.

Tesco Community Champion Shelley Vanstone said: "We were all really excited about taking part in Race for Life and celebrating Tesco's 11th year supporting the race. The atmosphere on the evening was fantastic with refreshments provided by our store manager, and it was great to see so many people rallying together for the cause.
