AN AQUAFIT instructor at Meadowlands Leisure Pool, Okehampton, has been rewarded after celebrating 20 years of teaching within the local community.

Sandhya Allesbrook originally started her fitness career as a Yoga teacher, and dance and movement instructor at the centre.

She trained through various disciplines of Aquafit and teaches three sessions a week.

Her classes are always popular, and Sandhya has a loyal following of committed attendees, some of whom have been attending her classes since she first began teaching.
