SIX of the best in tries and a five-point win — the All Blacks are back on track following this ultimately emphatic National Two demolition of the Bristolians at Polson.

The match was tarnished, if not spoiled, by a flurry of cards deep into injury time; for the Cornish a red for number eight Josh Lord (punching), a yellow for wing Liam Yeo (spear-tackle), and a third for prop Neil Bayliss early in the second-half (deliberately coming in at the side). The visiting centre Sam Harrison was also yellow carded in the 86th minute (foul play). This was a pity, but should not detract from a finely contested and entertaining match.

That said, the All Blacks only pulled away in the last ten minutes. Before that it was pretty ding-dong, and just before the hour the visitors had narrowed it to four points, 25-21.

Two late and well-taken tries proved the All Blacks masters of the day with a well-deserved win, having scored twice as many tries as the visitors.
