BUDE Town’s hopes of a top four finish remain neither here or there despite securing a vital point against Wadebridge Town on Saturday in SWPL Premier West.

Billy Hopcroft notched a 94th minute equaliser for the Seasiders who remain fourth in the division, six points ahead of Liskeard Athletic.

However the Blues have games in-hand, albeit against some of the better sides in the division, including Bude on February 25.

On Saturday, Bude also gave a debut to goalkeeper Jimmy Weeks following Liam Hill’s broken hand.

Inside this week’s paper is a match report and photos from the game, while the back of the Bude and Stratton Post has the thoughts of joint manager Ben Potter on the contest and Weeks’ debut.

Elsewhere in the division there’s a report and the reaction of Camelford boss Reg Hambly following their disappointing 1-0 defeat at Penzance.

There's also a report from Holsworthy’s narrow reversal at home to promotion-hopefuls Ivybridge Town in SWPL Premier East.
