LAUNCESTON's Cornish All Blacks will step up the search for new hookers, after the departures of their two first choice players in that position.

Number twos Jamie Salter and Darren Semmens have joined respective Championship sides Plymouth Albion and Cornish Pirates.

It had been understood that the former had agreed a new contract at the All Blacks, tieing him down to another season at Polson Bridge. He has instead signed a deal that will see him rejoin his old side in South Devon, having made three starts for them in the 2008/09 campaign before heading to Mounts Bay.
