They currently sit a solitary point ahead of Holsworthy B and Miltom Damerel?A but crucially have games in-hand on both.
Things are also extremely tight at the bottom.
Highampton A are two points adrift of safety but have two games in-hand on Chilsworthy A who are on 19 points. Week St Mary A are also on 19 points but have games in-hand as well.
Chilsworthy B are one point further ahead.
In Division Two, third-placed Old Bullers B look title favourites as they have four games in-hand over North Petherwin D. Petherwin are on 48 points from 34 games with Old Bullers a further four adrift.
Halwill C are sandwiched in between on 46 with Week St Mary D and Yeolmbridge D also on 44.
Sutcombe A are well adrift at the bottom with Halwill D, Boyton B and Launcells A looking to make sure they don’t join them in Division Three.
There’s an inter-club rivalry brewing at Yeolmbridge with both the B and A team aiming to win the league. Bridgerule B, Northlew B and Clawton B are also still in the title picture.
As many as six teams are aiming to make sure they don’t finish with the wooden spoon.
