THE Cornish All Blacks made hard work of beating their hosts who were reduced to 14 players in the tenth minute when their lock Nick Coles was shown the red card for stamping to the head but still led 12-3 at half time.
The visitors, who had lock Ben Hilton yellow card, also for stamping, in the 6th minute, never hit top form and only clinched victory in the final minutes.
Open side flanker Mike Rawlings was outstanding for the All Blacks in the first half with hooker James Salter also shining in the pack.
Park in the first half hassled and harried the All Blacks and handled far better than their visitors.
At the end of the first quarter their flanker George Bloomfield picked a loose ball on half way and ran almost through to the line, linked with Jon West and the No 8 crossed wide out.
Five minutes later the visitors won a penalty and full-back Kieron Lewitt's unerring boot landed a superb goal from 40 metres to reduce the deficit.
