Ladies Section
Competition — Thursday, January 24
SHOWERS didn’t keep the hardy ladies off the golf course last Thursday.
It should have been a Winter League competition but because of the conditions, the competition was reduced to 12 holes played in teams of three, one to all three scores to count consecutively.
The winning team was Liz Hicks, Barbara Murton and Beth Ratcliffe with 44 points from the team of Elizabeth Swords, Teona Chegwyn and Carole Hutchinson on 41.
