LAUNCESTON golfers Richard Jasper and Alan Creber have been selected for their respective Cornwall sides.
Jasper will be part of the full Cornwall Men’s team when they take on Wales this upcoming Sunday at The Point at Polzeath Golf Club. The action starts at 9.30am with the morning foursomes before the afternoon singles matches.
Cornwall Squad: Joe Cruse (St Enodoc), Matt Richards, Harry Hall(West Cornwall), Conor Wilson, Sandy Kirton (Perranporth), Josh Greenaway (Bowood Park), Richard Jasper (Launceston), Jared Mortimnore (Truro) and Aaron Stephens (Newquay).
Meanwhile, Creber will tee off on his home course at Launceston on Wednesday, July 13, when Cornwall take on Glamorgan.
County Mens’ Captain, David Kneebone of Truro will make his debut while there is also a return for Malcolm Edmunds after a spell living in Wales.

The fixture at Launceston provides a good opportunity for the Duchy Seniors as the South Western Counties Golf Association Seniors Championship takes place at the same venue over two days on July 21 and 22.
