ON THURSDAY, March 26, Launceston Golf Club's Lady Captain Jan Harrison was joined by about 30 ladies for the ladies' annual coffee afternoon to hear Paul Ford speak to them about The Cornwall Air Ambulance charity and the outstanding service they provide to anyone and everyone in Cornwall.

Prizes that were not presented at the presentation evening were presented. The overall winner of the winter leagues was Cath Hopkins, the silver division was Carole Hutchinson, the Bronze division was Anita Ley and the copper division was Amanda Harvey. The winner of the rosebowl trophy for the most improved player in 2014 was Emma Harvey.

It was also the launch of a beautiful quilt handmade by Julia Fox, Elizabeth Swords, Barbara Murton and Rosemary Feierabend which will be raffled throughout the year with proceeds going to Cornwall Air Ambulance.

It was a very successful afternoon of competition and friendship with delicious cakes baked by the lady members.

The ladies welcome any new members to join them and be part of their fulfilling club.
