THE Bude Junior School pupils who took part in the North Devon Gymnastics Competition 2012 held at Kingsley College secured a fantastic result on Friday, March 16. This annual competition attracted schools from all over the region, with approximately 300 gymnasts competing in various age and ability categories. This year four teams entered representing Bude Junior School in the novice category, and for many this was their first experience of gymnastics. The under 9 boys team comprised Toby Gifford, Jack Farmer, Troy Buckingham, Callum Woolley and Louie Newberry; the under 9 mixed team Lucy Wells, Amber Harris, Nelly Thorn, Kyran Werren and Taylor Crockford; the under 11 girls team Riley Gifford, Jess Wallis, Jodie Gill, Millie Jackson and Rebecca Maloney; and the under 11 mixed team Kessia Gill, Hannah Maloney, Holly Bakewell, Max Busby and Sophie Powell.
