CAMELFORD Badminton Club retained the West Briton Cup on Friday, March 22, at Polkyth Leisure Centre after a closely encountered match, against Mounts Bay Badminton Club.

Mounts Bay had beaten St Austell Bay in the semi-final, with Camelford having beaten Liskeard to reach this closely contested final.

The Camelford team of Jo Philp, Rachel Stacey, Claire Walkey, Rob Cook, Rob Heckbert and Tony Marshall were all set, and for the few spectators that attended, put on a display of excellent badminton.
