ST MINVER had to come from behind to gain three points at St Mawgan and will go into the New Year three points clear at the top of the Premier Division.
Stuart Harris gave the hosts the lead before Steve Wootton equalised with a good right foot shot on the hour and then scored again to put the visitors ahead.
A late goal from Robbie Green ensured St Minver the points.
In Division One, St Newlyn East picked up their first win of the season by overcoming Altarnun 5-3.
After their terrible start to the season, conceding double figure score-lines in most of their games, the fighting spirit of Newlyn earned themselves something to smile about over the Christmas period.
Liam Dent returned to the club to score four times with Dave Kent getting their other goal. Altarnun, who are also rebuilding after losing some of their established players, replied through a Ryan Crabb double and a Luke Williams goal.
St Breward beat Boscastle 2-0 to climb out of the bottom two in Division Two.
Martin Jago put St Breward ahead, then they faced a fierce onslaught from a strong Boscastle side, with their goalkeeper making some impressive saves. New signing Matt Hamley scored with the last kick of the game to secure the spoils.
Tintagel produced their best display of the season as they thrashed overnight leaders Holywell/Cubert Athletic 5-1. Martyn Cockcroft scored a double with their tally completed by goals from Adam Price, Scott Wheeler and an own goal.
St Merryn returned to the summit of Division Three on goal difference after winning 2-1 away at St Minver reserves.
Rob Centini scored for St Minver but goals from Josh Dark and Ross McLachlan sent St Merryn to the top.
