Who is the best player in your squad, and why?
Frank Artus — one of the cenre midfielders. He’s technically very good, with a great range of passing.
Who is the best team you have faced?
I’ve been lucky to play against some good sides in pre-season friendlies throughout my career, including Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Cardiff. Cardiff probably pipping it as the toughest one due to their quality all the way through the team.
Who is the best player you have or expect to face this season?
Wilfred Zaha, in the friendly against Palace — he had a sharpness a level above everyone else and had great feet.
What are your hopes for the season?
My main hope for this season is to try and sneak into the play-off places.
What has been your favourite moment of your football career so far?
The best moment of my career so far is definitely playing at Wembley in 2007 in the final of the FA Vase for Truro City.
We were the first final to be played at the new stadium and we won it, beating AFC Totton 3-1. In doing so, we became the first Cornish football club to win a national trophy. The game was played infront of a FA Vase record crowd of 36,232 fans.
