LAUNCESTON have set an unenviable league record, sharing a 1-1 draw with Callington Town to record their 14th draw of the season.

Ryan Lucassi knocked the visitors into an early lead with a quality finish. Launceston thought they had replied instantly but Sam Davey’s goal was ruled out for offside.

With 20 minutes to play, Launceston broke away and found an equaliser through Danny Zalick. The striker used his pace to beat Callington’s centre-halves finishing with a driven shot past the goalkeeper from 25 yards.

Launceston put Callington under pressure in search of a late winner but it was to no avail, as the Clarets finished all square yet again.
