CAMELFORD will look to bounce back from successive defeats in pre-season when they welcome Foxhole to Trefrew Park this evening (7.30pm).
The Camels were beaten 3-2 at Penryn last Thursday – all three goals coming after boss Reg Hambly had made a plethora of substitutions at 2-0 up.
They then took an experimental team down to Western League Premier Division side Torpoint Athletic and were beaten 6-0, an evening Hambly won’t read too much into.
They were due to host Helston Athletic Development tonight but the Blues pulled out a few days ago, giving the chance for Foxhole to step in.
Seth Couch’s side were winners of the final ever East Cornwall Premier League Division title – but will remain at level eight of the system in the new St Piran League East Division One.
The Clay Country club have players with Camels connections in the shape of forwards Cam Bidgood and Tyler Cheshire, so Camelford will be determined to get back to winning ways.
