North Devon League round-up
BRADWORTHY fell to a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Appledore in the Premier Division.
Peter Buckpitt grabbed the Hornwinks goal but they remain second bottom.
With Holsworthy Reserves and Shebbear United having the week off ahead of their respective Devon Senior Cup last 16 ties, Saturday was supposed to see Kilkhampton represent the Post area in the Senior Division. However they were awarded the three points without having to step foot on the field after Torrington Reserves forfeited the game.
In Intermediate Two, Bridgerule Reserves lost by the odd goal in seven at home to their Combe Martin counterparts, while Morwenstow Reserves’ clash at Eastside was postponed.
In the basement division, Ashwater came unstuck by six goals to two in Bideford at Victoria Park.
