THE Cornish All Blacks took the glory in this, the first of the season's county derbies, at Polson Bridge on Saturday, with a strong display.

Kieron Lewitt got the scoring underway in the opening minute, after he exposed a gap in the Redruth defence to touch down.

Unfortunately, he couldn't add the extras and add the gloss to a bright start.

The visitors put a disallowed try behind them to level through Dean Bonds soon after; the score also unconverted.

The All Blacks went back in front just before the break when Tim Mathias broke through to score, with Lewitt this time putting the kick between the posts.
