LAUNCESTON Ladies hosted a Ladies six-a-side tournament at Launceston Cricket Club on Sunday, September 7. Six teams entered this inaugural competition each team playing each other in a round robin format. Launceston competed well, especially as for most of the ladies this was their first taste of competitive action. The eventual winners of the tournament were Redruth with Hatherleigh runners up. This is Launceston's first year, the team is continuing to grow from strength to strength and will be looking for new players to join for winter training and next season's games.
