KENSEY Vale Bowling Club opened its 2015 season on Saturday, April 8 when the president Dawn Addis bowled the first bowl.

She welcomed over 60 members and guests on what was a glorious sunny afternoon and thanked everyone who had helped in preparing the facilities for the coming season.

David Dobson presented the club with a cheque on behalf of Maddaford Funeral Services as part of their very valuable sponsor­ship which was greatly appreciated and will be used to offset the cost of club shirts worn by the bowlers when representing the club.
