LAUNCESTON drivers Richard Fishleigh and Martin Walters managed to obtain impressive finishing positions in the 2013 Paperclix Jersey Rally.

Run over two days, the event comprises 30 special stages, including eight run at night.

Richard, in his Ford Escort Mk2 RS, was seeded car 12 at the start of the competition, and Martin, driving a BMW 325 E30, car 27.

The duo kept out of trouble on track to see in the second day; lots of local Jersey crews fell by the wayside however, to leave Martin third overall and Richard fifth — his time including a 30 second penalty.
