IN the first game at the show field in six weeks Ashwater needed to make sure they keep on winning as they try and keep their title charge on course.
With the away side, hoping to frustrate and try and hit on the counter, made it very difficult for the home side.
Playing with one up front and keeping ten men behind the ball for most the game Week St Mary were very hard working and just made the game very tight in the last quarter of the pitch.
Ashwater managed to break the deadlock with a Darren Webber goal at the back post from a Ben Potter header.
Tony Knight had a shot across goal put into the net for and own goal and he made it 3-0 at half time with a good finish.
In the second half Ashwater found it hard to turn their control and pressure into goals and Week St Mary hit on the counter from a goalmouth scramble to bring it back to 3-1.
Luke Potter completed the scoring as Ashwater gained important 3 points.
