Looe Golf Club Ladies Club Championship was held on July 4 in good golfing weather, if a little breezy.

The format was a medal over 27 holes off the red tees.

Results: Penny Drake (Lady Captain) won the Scratch Cup with 124 gross; 

Carole Day (Lady Vets Captain) won the Handicap Cup with 111 1/2 net; 

Margaret Bunton (Lady Vice Captain) 2nd handicap with 113 1/2 (c/b on last 18); 

Sandy King 3rd handicap with 113 1/2 ( c/b on last 18);

Best 18 holes was Penny Weston with 74 net

Best 9 holes was Hermione Green with 36 1/2 net. 

There were two 2's recorded – Anne Beswetherick on the 1st and Sandy King on the 9th.
