FIVE pubs took part in the annual rugby day at Stanhope Park, Holsworthy on May 1.

There were teams from Bradworthy Inn, Crown and Sceptre, Kings Arms, Rydon Inn and the White Hart.

The winning team was the Rydon Inn and the runners up — Crown and Sceptre.

The winner of the boat race was Crown and Sceptre and the egg throwing and catching competition was won by Luke Potter and Bob Morgan.

The lorry pull was cancelled this year due to the wet conditions.

There was also tag rugby for the ladies and children.
