THE Cornwall Women’s Cricket Association have adopted a new structure for 2016.
The purpose of the change is to make the Association more effective, establishing stronger relationships with the other Associations within Cornwall Cricket and improving the quality and opportunities for women and girls cricket in Cornwall.
Three sub groups have been formed with the Chairperson of each reporting back to the full committee. Recruitment and Retention will aim to get more people, volunteering and delivering and playing cricket.
The Competitions sub group’s purpose is to create a structure that allows all to compete at their level which is appropriately reported to raise the profile by a Communications sub group.
Falmouth, Grampound Road, Launceston, Truro, Redruth and Wadebridge will all compete in 2016. A meeting to formulate the fixtures structures takes place in late January.
