HERE was a slice of history made at Tintagel Cricket Club last Saturday as Ryan Pooley (below right) and Shaun Keeble (below left) put on an unbroken 288 partnership, the highest in the club’s history. Coming together at 81-2, the duo smashed Callington thirds to all parts of Butts Field, eventually amassing a massive 369-2 off their 45 overs in their Division Four East clash. Pooley finished on 141 not out with Keeble not far behind on 130. In reply, Callington were all out for 176 to lose by 193 runs with skipper Lee Cosgrove top-scoring with 56. Geoff Uglow took 4-17 as Tintagel remain unbeaten after seven games.
