Cricket round-up,

A COMPLETE?wash-out across the county means that a number of issues have been decided ahead of this weekend’s final fixtures.
In the Premier Division, the potential title decider between Truro and St Just at Boscawen Park was cancelled, meaning St Just need 19 points next weekend to secure the title.
Last season’s champions, Werrington, are in mid-table but should finish the season with a home victory over relegated Newquay.
In County One, Hayle’s wonderful run of nine consecutive wins has earned them the chance to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2007 while Werrington seconds have achieved what many saw as the impossible, securing their County One status. St Gluvias and Beacon go down.
St Minver can finish second if they win at Rosudgeon on Saturday but will rue their form over the run-in.
With both teams relegated from County One being from the West and the withdrawals of Pencarrow, Veryan and Liskeard seconds across the East divisions, no automatic relegations will happen across the East, although some clubs may ask the league to go down to rebuild.
In Division Two East, the battle for promotion between Lanhydrock who are aiming for three consecutive titles, and Launceston, will go down to the final day although the Bodmin-based club need just 19 points and will be confident of victory over struggling Callington seconds. Launceston make the tough trip to third-placed St Erme.
South Petherwin have endured a difficult campaign due to players leaving while Luckett continue to be a solid Division Two side.
Bude, Boconnoc and Newquay are all promoted from Division Three, although Bude look favourites for the title as their potential championship decider at Boconnoc on Saturday never got started.
Newquay seconds will join them and could be champions if Bude lose at fourth-placed Tideford.
Werrington thirds and Luckett have struggled although that’s to be expected, with both teams having to put up with constant changing in their teams.
In Division Four, the only team in the East not to have lost a game, Tintagel, have romped the division and if they can beat Roche on Saturday could go the whole season unbeaten while Roche are also promoted as are Gorran seconds if they win their final match at Menheniot Looe. However the league are currently investigating whether Callington conceded their scheduled fixture last week or whether it was rained off.
Local clubs Launceston, St Minver and Callington have all struggled at times while Holsworthy will finish no lower than fifth and could earn promotion if they win their last two games and Gorran fail to beat Menheniot Looe.
Delabole will aim for the 17 points they need for the league crown when they host St Neot seconds in Division Five, while Duloe and Bude seconds are promoted too.
In Division?Six, all of the local clubs are in mid-table, apart from Launceston thirds who despite being bottom continue to give their youngsters a chance.
