St Minver racked up 308-2 at home to Roche Seconds but were soundly beaten by five wickets.
Centuries from Ben Hawken (119no) and South African newcomer Alex Scullard (133no) gave the hosts a chance, and although Rob Hawken’s 1-31 was miserly, Roche were guided home by centuries from James Cole (120) and Tyler Trudgeon (101no).
Launceston made it four wins on the spin in Division Four with an emphatic eight-wicket success at home to St Stephen.
Despite being without Shane Davey, opening bowlers Mohammed Zohaib (2-17) and Ryan Vanstone (2-28) got the early breakthroughs, before Matthew Bloomfield’s miserly 3-4 from seven overs helped dismiss the Clay Country outfit for just 72. Liam Tilley was 38 not out in reply.
Werrington Thirds eased to a seven-wicket success over Gorran.
The visitors were dismissed for just 150 with braces for Freddie Ward (2-10), Tyler May (2-41), Sam Uglow (2-26) and Tyler Jasper (2-21), before Toby Ward’s 74 saw them home with Henry Howson (29no) and Dan Warring (26) also contributing.
