THE normal Tuesday Senior Men and Ladies Competitions gave way to Launceston Golf Club's third annual St Piran's Day event on March 3.
Club Secretary Alan Creber said: "Our thanks go as always to them for sharing their day with us."
The format was a shotgun start four person Texas Scramble with 98 players in Men's, Ladies and mixed teams taking part.
The weather threw everything at the competitors with hail, rain, wind, and the occasional ray of sunshine too.
After the game, players were welcomed into the aptly decorated clubhouse to enjoy pasties and saffron buns amongst the St Piran flags to keep up with the Cornish theme of the day.
Alan added: "A great, fun morning was had by all and having the clubhouse buzzing with people eating and chatting was a fantastic end to what was a very successful event."
