Kent U20s 18
Cornwall U20s 25
TWO young Cornish All Blacks helped Cornwall u20's reach the semi-finals of the County Championship on Sunday.
John Haines and Tom Sandercock made the long trip to Charlton Park RFC in South East London with the Cornwall squad to play their quarter-final match against Kent.
Following their first game against Gloucestershire at the end of November, Cornwall played Devon in a winner takes all pool decider.
Unfortunately for the black and gold hoops, Devon won the game with a last kick of the game penalty that rewarded them with a home tie whilst Cornwall travelled to Kent.
After a focused week's training with reduced numbers, the Cornish men came out victorious to seal their place into the final four.
Tom said: "I'm very pleased to get through — it was a tough game but we stuck at it!"
Cornwall will face Yorkshire at home (Camborne) in the next round on March 15.
