TALENTED footballer Jack Farbrother, a Year 11 student at Sir James Smith's Community School in Camelford, has been selected for the Cornwall Schools Under 16 Football Squad.

The squad is now competing in this season's ESFA County Championships, and has already played against Dorset. All students chosen to take part in the Championships were selected following a series of competitive trials.

Jack had already been inducted in the initial Sir Jim's Sport Hall of Fame for his prowess in athletics. Others in the hall include Cornwall rugby's Matt Burnard, Cornwall swimming's Katie Randall, British karting's Alex Quinn, county swimmer Lewis Bradley, Cornwall football's Nicola Champion, dance and ballet's Isla Symons and Cornwall badminton's Laura Galley.
