CORNWALL have a home quarter final to look forward to in the Unicorns Knock Out Trophy, despite losing to Wales Minor Counties at Werrington.
News of Devon's defeat to Wiltshire assured Cornwall of qualification and by reducing the margin of defeat to 21 runs it means they narrowly top the group ahead of Wales on net run rate.
They will have home advantage in a quarter-final against Berkshire, at Truro, on Sunday, June 14.
Wales recovered from 144 for six to make 290 for nine in their 50 overs. Matt Robins took three wickets.
