BUDE Men 2nd welcomed a strong Duchy side on a sunny yet blustery Saturday afternoon.

The home side changed their formation in order to best take advantage of their pacy forward options.

Despite being unfamiliar with the new approach Bude played with confidence and played the ball around with accuracy and speed.

Duchy were also strong in possession but the home defence of Barny Simpson, Shaun Whitfield and Ben Dayman (capt) man marked well and were able to keep them at bay.

Bude opened the scoring and went into half time 1-0 up.

During the half time break a few directions were made to best utilise the new formation and Bude continued to dominate the game after the re-start.

Matt 'Sausage' Horton and Matt Cole controlled the centre of midfield, with Luke Storry and James Kivell working hard out wide.
