LAUNCESTON never really got going in this home fixture against a Saltash United side that is beginning to slowly put some form together.
The match was evenly balanced throughout, with much of the play taking place in the middle of the park. There were nonetheless a few good chances by both sides, with Josh Bance and Lloyd Jones both passing up the chance to open the scoring for the visitors.
Tom Ellacott was also guilty of failing to convert on a couple of occasions when he found himself one-on-one with the United keeper. The best opportunity of the match however, went to Clarets man Dave Andrews.
He somehow contrived to drag the ball wide of goal after finding himself with the net at his mercy in the six-yard box.
This chance marked the last real sight of goal for either side, with the 0-0 final score having an air of inevitablity about it.
