Cornwall Clubs Cup

Lankelly-Fowey 19

CAMELFORD Rugby Club celebrated the opening of their new pitch on Saturday, February 21, with a Cornwall Clubs Cup match against Lankelly Fowey.

The day consisted of a free buffet at Camelford conservative club at lunch time, before everyone made their way to the new pitch at Lane End Farm.

The match kicked off at 14:30 and that's when the real celebration started for the home side — going on to thrash Lankelly-Fowey 55-19.

Camelford gained early advantage and never went behind in the match.

By half time, the Cornwall Two club were comfortably ahead of their opponents.

Victory leaves the club back in the race to be top of their group.

After the match, everyone returned to the conservative club to meet the players and continue the celebrations.
