East Cornwall Division One

CAMELFORD finally ended their six-game losing streak with victory over Holsworthy who remain in the bottom two.

It could have been a very different for the Magpies if the ball went the right side of the post rather than hitting it in the opening five minutes, but this was as good as it was to get for the visitors.

Josh Howell opened the scoring from the penalty spot before James McNeary finished off a terrific team move. Full-back Joe Orchard made it 3-0 just before the half time whistle.

The young Camelford side, that featured seven teenagers, continued to attack in the second half, wrapping things up with goals from Luke Saunders and Luke Richards.
