THE Arena Water Sports festival took place at Roadford Lake on Friday, June 14.
One hundred and thirteen students from five secondary schools took part; Callington, Bude, Liskeard, Saltash and Looe. The youngsters were allowed to choose one of five activities and have a go at them.
Unfortunately, the wind was too strong for windsurfing, so paddle boarding was the supplement; the other sports were sailing, high ropes, kayaking and raft racing.
Many of the students also had a go at attempting to stand inside a large inflatable ball in the water.
