TWENTY members of Bude RATS Running club took part in the Bideford 10k last weekend, one part of a three race series hosted by Bideford AAC (Half Marathon/10k/ ten miler) with many of the RATs achieving Personal Best’s.

Leila Reay, gave the club a first place finish in the Ladies V65 age category, with a very fast time of under 50 minutes before Sean Jack also came away with a third place prize in the V55 male category. Several of the newer members also were representing RATS for the 1st time in a official race and included runners who had come through the 0-5k training sessions regularly held by the RATS-something the club has been keen to promote in recent times.
