BUDE Town made it three wins on the spin in all competitions last night as they eased past Launceston 6-0 in SWPL Premier West.

The Clarets headed up to Broadclose Park in confident mood after advancing in the FA Vase on Saturday, but the Seasiders were 2-0 up inside eight minutes through a remarkable own goal from left-back Ryan Bath and Billy Hopcroft’s fine finish.

Launceston had their moments but Bude’s defence, led by the superb Luke Potter, stayed strong.

Gabby Rogers added the third 20 minutes from time before two more went in soon after through Rogers and Ben Musselwhite.

Recent recruit Ryan Keates added the sixth in injury-time as Bude, who picked up just a point from their opening three games, warmed up for their huge game with Wadebridge Town on Saturday with a vital three points.

Launceston will look to bounce back when they welcome Newquay to Pennygillam.
